Beyond Glass

at Kunstgewerbe museum, Frankfurt

The artits’ most comprehensive large scale exhibition to date, showing first in Geneva and then Frankfurt, the one underground in the Ariana’s superb contemporary exhibition space, the other in splendid light by the side of the Rhine, featured all new works by Baldwin and Guggisberg from their studio in Paris. A comprehensive view of major “Boat series” including the nine meter “The Long Voyage : Memory, Tears, Joy”, standing Guardianos, hanging Sphere sculpture and a room of twelve vessel forms. A twelve meter suspended mobile was added for the Frankfurt presentations entranceway.
